Front End Engineering & Design
MCSI offers Front End Loading (FEL) / Front End Engineering & Design (FEED) services to support customers cost benefit analysis for capital and maintenance projects. MCSI FEL/FEED packages provide a basic engineering package to support a +/- 10% cost estimate on engineering & construction efforts. MCSI FEL/FEED's de-risk your project through providing a clear scope definition package which includes plans and basic design data to support a lump sum estimate.
MCSI provides detailed design, engineering, and programming support services for automation, electrical, and instrumentation projects. Our talented team of engineers and designers have experience in specifying, scoping, and detailing industrial designs to enable successful installation and commissioning of greenfield and brownfield industrial investments.
CADD Services
MCSI Drafting Department is a CADD based department utilizing the latest technology. CADWorx, Auto-CAD and SmartPlant Software aid in efficiently designing projects to meet customers needs. Drafting experience covers electrical, instrumentation and piping as well as small skid structural design. Drawings are provided on 11x17 or full size sheets as well as on CDs or via email.

Construction
With more than 30 consecutive years in delivering industrial projects, our team of site superintendents, master electricians, journeymen, and technicians offer the experience and proven track record to meet your project needs with minimal direction. Our team has experience in installations, extensive engineering capablities and can provide simple or complex field sketches and have safely and successfully delivered projects on scope, schedule and budget through both of these methods. Our installation experience is in instrument, electrical, automation, and light mechanical applications. Our experience spans plant installations, retrofits, and plant relocations.
MCSI’s construction department adheres to strict safety policies. We have been very fortunate to maintain almost a perfect safety record over the past years. MCSI has safety training programs as well as drug and alcohol abuse programs. MCSI is a member of Houston Area Contractors Safety Council. All field and office employees are drug tested upon their employment with random testing occurring at the rate of 25% per year.

Procurement
MCSI has a team of purchasing agents who procure, expedite, and manage the supply chain process to ensure project material needs are accurately managed and distributed to minimize disruption in fabrication and installation schedules.
MCSI's dedicated approach provides customers with lead personnel to ensure continuity from engineering through construction to ensure commissioning efforts are safe, seamless, and painless for our customers. Our experienced commissioning managers have experience in all facets of the project and have the knowledge to get the job done right.

Panel Shop
MCSI's Katy facility includes 16,875 square feet of shop floor space for fabrication of panels and skidded equipment. The shop is divided into three areas. The first area is a 3,750 sq. ft. air conditioned panel shop where all of our control panels are fabricated and tested. We perform a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for all of our control panels, DCS’s and SCADA systems using our simulation panels.The second area is a fully equipped steel fabrication facility which consists of 7,500 sq. ft. covered shop and a 12,500 sq. ft. slab to facilitate small skid fabrication. MCSI can fabricate skid mounted building for housing MCC's, DCS's, analyzers, control panels, etc. The third area is a storage /stocking area where we keep our inventory and job materials.Our inventory information is integrated with our procurement and estimating software.
Our team of electricians, tube fitters, welders, and pipers have delivered thousands of projects and are ready to deliver on your needs today.

Estimating
We pride ourselves in responding to our customers’ requests for estimates in a fast and punctual manner. Our Estimating personnel have vast experience in the design and construction arenas, which helps estimating with accuracy and completeness. The estimating department works closely with the engineering and design department to insure that all possible avenues and solutions are explored.

Maintenance Services
MCSI offers ongoing maintenance support services to support PSM guidelines for packaged equipment, control and safety systems, and electrical substations. Our experience in providing calibration records and annual equipment inspections has been adopted by many customers to ensure a non bias report is available to meet OSHA inspection requirements.
